Ethan Pruitt – Trumpet

I’m Ethan and I started trumpet my 5th grade year in 2002. I decided to play trumpet because it was either the trumpet or percussion and at the time I already had a brother that played drums on and off so I decided to go with the trumpet. I first played with the S.O. in my senior year in high school in 2009. I had played one concert with them and had a great time. Then I went to college for music performance at North Carolina School of the Arts and when I graduated I moved back home and went back to playing with S.O. in 2015 and I’ve been in the group ever since. I really enjoy playing with the group because of the people in it and the friendships I’ve made through it. Outside of playing music, I enjoy bowling and I’m also an avid video game collector.
