As we look ahead to another exciting season with the Summerville Orchestra, I am continually reminded that our orchestra is about so much more than performances on stage. It is about connection, opportunity, education, and creating meaningful experiences that bring our community together through music.

Each season, we see the impact of your support in countless ways. From students experiencing live orchestral music for the very first time, to families gathering for concerts, to audience members discovering new works and artists — these moments are only possible because of supporters like you.

The Summerville Orchestra continues to grow both artistically and within the community. Beyond our Subscription Series concerts at the Summers Corner Performing Arts Center, we are expanding access to music through free community programs, educational outreach, livestream performances, and partnerships with local organizations and businesses. Whether through a Music Chat at the library, an Encore Series performance downtown, or a side-by-side performance with our youth musicians, we are committed to making music accessible and welcoming to all.

As a nonprofit organization, ticket sales cover only a portion of what it takes to bring these experiences to life. Sponsorships and donations directly support our musicians, music and production costs, educational initiatives, youth programs, and community outreach efforts throughout the Lowcountry.
