Take a musical journey on the Polar Express with the Summerville Orchestra (S.O.) on Saturday, December 10th, as part of their holiday showcase, featuring the full orchestra, a 100-voice choir, handbells, and familiar holiday classics.
The matinee performance begins at 3:30 pm with a new twist – the lobby of the Summers Corner Performing Arts Center will be a marketplace of booths featuring the Shops of West Richardson and other local businesses, giving concert-goers an opportunity to do some holiday shopping.
The 100-member choir featuring Goose Creek High School, Edisto Middle School, and Rolling Middle School of the Arts will be singing alongside the S.O. Joining the musical assembly will be the Chancel Bells of Bethany United Methodist Church and tenor extraordinaire, Edward Brennan.
Tickets are $22 adults/seniors and $2 for under 18 (Note: if you’re a season ticket holder, the holiday concert is not included in the subscription series).
