Art Stroll #1
Art Stroll 1: Relationships, Miniatures and Youth- Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
The art centers around three themes- relationships, miniatures, and youth. Adrian Rhodes’ art is centered around the complexity of relationships and closeness; she speaks about recurring motifs and how that mirrors the idea of intrusive thoughts moving in. Several of the musical pieces deal with the complexity of those topics- it’s almost the essence of beautiful music and art. Ken Hamilton’s art is based on miniature models and scale; ideas of miniature often yield big results, and we tied in some film music with that idea. The third aspect of the art is the student showcase, some pieces cross all three themes together! Enjoy art at the Public Works Art Center while listening to the Summerville Orchestra’s String Quartet play Dvořák, Beethoven, Hans Zimmer, and more.
No beer or wine will be sold at this event.
