Experience an evening of powerful choral and orchestral music spanning cultures, traditions and centuries. The program features the uplifting Baba Yetu by Christopher Tin, Ave Verum Corpus by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the cinematic drama of music from Gladiator by Hans Zimmer. The first half concludes with the thunderous “Dies Irae” from Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi. After intermission, the orchestra performs Lithuanian Rhapsody by Mieczysław Karłowicz and Prière by Lili Boulanger, bringing the evening to a reflective and expressive close.
