Region IV Orchestra Audition Workshop

The Region IV Orchestra Audition Workshop will open with an audition masterclass, offering tips for taking in person and virtual auditions. It will be followed by two hours of focused instruction, in sectional format, on the audition scales, etudes and orchestra excerpts. To prepare for the Region Orchestra audition, students will receive coaching from experienced musicians from the Summerville Orchestra, as well as other professionals, on concepts like fingerings, shifting, bow placement, tone, intonation, tempos, musical styles, and more!
