Dear Friends:
During the past two years, we have looked to our donors, patrons, and community supporters to keep us alive during COVID-19. And through the highs and lows of the past two years, Summerville Orchestra is stronger than ever and looking forward to the future.
Speaking of the future, our new mission and vision statement focus on what is both in and out of the concert hall. We want to continue building our relationships with community partners, patrons, and the community at large, while also getting new people involved in the orchestra. Take, for instance, the students at Dorchester School District 2, who recently had the opportunity to watch world-renowned performers while at school. The impact on those students’ lives will forever instill music in them.
Or take our Encore Series events—maybe you’ve strolled on Main Street in Summerville and swung by to have a coffee at Coastal Coffee Roasters, listening to SOJazzy on a Saturday night in beautiful Summerville weather.
Or even our recent first livestreamed concerts, which we launched so friends and family from around the world can watch those they love performing on the grand Summers Corner Performing Center Arts stage.
These experiences belong to all of us, and with your help, our orchestra can continue to support musical endeavors and experiences for the residents and community in Summerville.
Please consider donating to the Summerville Orchestra during our Annual Gift Campaign. Your contribution makes an enormous impact on the orchestra and allows us to share stories like those above. All gifts, regardless of size, make a difference. In return, you have Wojciech’s and the orchestra’s deepest gratitude and the knowledge that you are making a difference in the lives of all those who perform, listen, and participate in the Summerville Orchestra.
Sincerely,
Andrew Price
Executive Director
